What kind of Art/Crafts do you do?
I design vintage inspired 100% organic cotton fabric. My Etsy shop is called Oliver Henry Organics.
Where do you create?
I finally got my own space to work in my house. I turned a little corner loft space back into an office/studio from a nursery. The boys (2 & 4) are now sharing a room and I feel like a real artist. I love my little space.
How do you keep all your supplies organised?
Fabric is easy to keep organized neatly folded in an antique dresser. Scraps go in baskets under the dresser. Luckily the room has a built in day bed with three huge drawers. I use them for Mailing and packaging stuff, art supplies, and computer/tech stuff.
How do you keep yourself motivated to keep your space tidy?
I keep my place tidy because it is so small that it has to be.
Any tips for how to keep art spaces tidy or organised?
I don't think I should give advice about being organized. It's a gene I am definitely missing!
Do you get stressed out when your space gets in a mess?
I feel very discombobulated when my space is a mess. It's hard to focus.
If you could have your dream space tomorrow what would it look like?
It would look a lot like this space but a little bigger, more shelves and a door to keep the kids out.
Do space limitations get in the way of projects you have in mind?
Not really.

What is the next big thing on your wish list for your art space?
I'm using on old oak table that was great grandmothers laundry room table to cut fabric but this is not ideal. I need a real work table large enough to fit a huge cutting mat and a real desk for my mac. But I am not complaining I love my space!
