Angel's Hair Studio

Angel’s Hair Studio

What kind of Art/Crafts do you do?
I do many different type of art and craft. From original painting to prints, greeting cards, home fashion products( cushions, jewelry and photo trees, etc.) My goal when I started Angel's hair almost 3 years ago was to create a young and multicultural home fashion brand made from handmade and fair trade products.

Where do you create?

In my home studio, but depending on what I am creating, it can be in any part of my home :)

How do you keep all your supplies organised?
I hardly keep my supplies organized :). Usually, the fabrics I am not working on are in a suitcase, because I have so much fabric and not that much space, I only keep in my studio the ones I have an immediate need of.

How do you keep yourself motivated to keep your space tidy?
Again, hardly!! It is usually when the space is so disorganized that I can't find what I need that I take a break and take a few hours cleaning and organizing. These pictures were taken one of these days :). I have to say that I feel more comfortable when it is a little bit messy around!

Any tips for how to keep art spaces tidy or organised?
I am not the right person to ask for these kind of tips. I can just say that the more containers, boxes and wardrobes you have, the better it might be,

Do you get stressed out when your space gets in a mess?
Depending at which point. I think everyone has its own standards. As I said, I feel only comfortable when it is a little bit messed up around. But yes, when I arrive at a certain level of mess, I start feeling stressed out

If you could have your dream space tomorrow what would it look like?
It would be outside of my home, with 2 separate spaces, one for clean works, and the other one for works that are less clean.

Do space limitations get in the way of projects you have in mind?
I think I would love to make sculpture and wood working, but this is impossible now in this space.

What is the next big thing on your wish list for your art space?
Maybe a potters wheel.

Where can people view your work or purchase it?
Yes, my work can be found at:

  6. This room will always be beautiful! You must have a very old home. They don't build 'em with that kind of wood anymore.
